History: Established in 1969, the Pioneer Memorial Public Library was named as a tribute to the early pioneers that settled the area. In its early days, the library was only opened one day a week and changed locations several times. All that changed when the library moved to its current location in 1988. Four years later, an addition tripled the size of the facility. The library serves more than 2,200 residents in Randolph County.
