History: Prior to the construction of the current building, the Elkins-Randolph County Public Library was located at the local YMCA and operated by the Elkin’s Women’s Club. In 1969, the library moved to its current location on Davis Avenue in Elkins. The library serves over 13,000 residents in Randolph County. Until renovations are complete the library will be using a temporary site located at 209 Randolph Ave.
